The visual arts and Down syndrome

Visual art is important for all human beings, it provides a unique form of communication, that releases inner thoughts and ways of seeing. It is especially so for the quality of life of persons with Down syndrome because it provides a way to express emotions, boosts self-esteem, and enhances communication skills beyond words. Engaging in visual arts is about learning what truly matters to the artist,  contributing to overall well-being and happiness. Within this community, I aim to answer questions from artists, caregivers and all those who work especially with Down syndrome.

Creativity and Arts in Early Childhood Education

In a vast changing global world and in many communities, creativity has become recognized as a valuable quality for both individuals and society. Creativity, next to communication, critical thinking and collaboration,  is also considered an essential 21st-century skill. It is thus no surprise that creativity has become increasingly important in early childhood education (ECE). In many countries around the world the inclusion of creativity development in education reform, creativity development is increasingly recognised in educational settings.  In this community  we inspire creative action, and how by seeing things differently you get the courage to teach differently. Our discussions involve ongoing discussions about cognitive, imaginative and emotional efforts that inspire problem solving, design thinking, innovation and drive progress. To offset administrative costs we charge a one time fee of $ 25
